CHARACTER SHEET: ALCHEMY

So, I'm gonna try out a brother/sister character play for this story. Here's the brother:

Andreas Kostopoulos

Appearance: Tall, broad-shouldered, tan with the typically Grecian dark hair and light blue eyes

Personality: prone to silence; underestimated intellect; surprising propensity for blurting out harsh truths

Age: 25

*Education: high school, master's degree in linguistics and systems engineering

*Skill-set: Fluent in French, Italian, English and Arabic (Greek of course); excellent hacker

(*not common knowledge)

Association to the Alchemists:

As the youngest of the Kostopoulos family--whose ties date far back to the near-beginning of the society's conception--Andreas is not obligated to integrate himself within the Alchemists, but nevertheless he oftentimes finds himself in the midst of its politics, due mainly to his meddlesome father.

Ophira Alves

Appearance: Tanned-skin from her mixed heritage of Persian and Brazilian. Black hair cropped close to the base of her neck. Chocolate-colored eyes that light up when she gives one of her signature warm smiles.

Personality: She is equal parts open and warm to others and closed off and secretive, although which part of her is who she actually is, is unknown.

Age: 22

Education: high school, bachelor’s degree in psychology and philosophy from Oxford University
Skill-set: Due to her degrees she has the ability to read people based on the information they tell her, and from body language etc.

Association to the Alchemists: When her parents died in a tragic fire when she was just 16, Ophira was left to fend for herself. She worked hard to make top grades in order to get a scholarship to Oxford University, where she met her Professor Theodore Caldwell, her Philosophy professor. Over time, the two of them grew close, with Caldwell becoming the father that Ophira lost all those years ago. And then one day Caldwell told Ophira his greatest secret, that he was an alchemist and part of a secret society. Not long after that he went missing. Ophira is searching for answers as to what has happened to Professor Caldwell, and if the alchemists are behind his disappearance.

Cilviano (Ven) Capulet

Age:23

Appearance: Fairly tall and hardly slouching, most often smiling without his teeth showing, as if he was smiling for another's joy. Typical tan Italian skin faded from spending too long in the London weather, and crisp silver-blue eyes on the brink of laughter or tears. Twin scars on the front and back of his left shoulder, a few inches inward of the armpit. Short blond hair, always well kept. Not muscular, but looks like he could handle himself well enough in a fight.

Personality: Power hungry and icy to the outside world, intensely protective of his allies. Those that know him well enough know of his tragedy, and can often make sense of his various moods.


Education: Aristocratic and Renaissance-style training in the arts, sciences, and history, early graduation from to Verona's oldest and finest university.

Skill-set: Various bits and pieces of knowledge including nearly all the history of alchemy and modern chemistry. Speaks Italian best, English and Latin fluently, and knows a spattering of most other Romance languages. Good with a knifes of any kind, and excellent with most skills that are related to sailing. Also can manipulate his expressions when he feels it useful.

Association to the Alchemists: Raised rich, he was trained for positions in a few Societies his family had connections to, however after a fallout with a majority of his relatives he ran off to England to join the Alchemists, whom his Priest and a steadfast uncle managed to connect him with.

Neil Hamby

Appearance: Neil has dark brown hair that is always messy, and has the tendency to stand on end when he is stressed or worried, which is the majority of the time. Dark eyes hide behind glasses that are just a bit too large for his face. His clothes are always wrinkled and he always appears to be under some sort of pressure.

Personality: He’s very intelligent, but has the tendency to be scatterbrained because he gets stressed very easily, especially when he’s around people he doesn’t know. He’s a bit of a coward as well.

Age: 20

Education: high school, currently enrolled at Oxford University as an
Experimental Physics major

Skill-set: His brain is like a sponge in the sense he is always soaking up information, and that information is never forgotten. He also has a photographic memory.

Association to the Alchemists: The Hamby family is one of the few families initiated into the Alchemical Society. Being the oldest, it was Neil’s duty to join that very Society, although he doesn’t fit the usual aesthetics of an Alchemist.

Halcyon Kostopoulos

Appearance [what she does not alter of it]: Unnaturally slender, pretty in an alarming way, bright, knowing eyes and deceivingly open countenance with delicate, virtuous features.

Personality: Halcyon is quirky but diplomatic, and has a level-head most of the time, but when her stress builds up she tends to have a flair for the dramatic and in extreme situations is victim to her own impulsive nature.

Education: GED, a stint in the Conservatoire de Paris, a major in chemical engineering and minor in sociology

Skill-set: Halcyon possesses the unique ability to repress all physical ‘lie’ indicators; she is an excellent actress and can carry on a conversation with almost anyone. Charm is necessary for her role as a ‘Sweeper’ and she has perfected the art of ‘bowing and scraping’ when necessary.

Age: 27
