Character Bio
Name: Hawthorne

Sex: Male

Seelie/Unseelie: Seelie

Race: Dhamphyr

Skill: Light Elements, especially Wind/Air

Appearance: Far from the typical vampiric appearance, Hawthorne got most of his looks from his mother, aside from his ruggedly serious facial features and hypnotizing crystalline red eyes with white pupils. His almost white blond hair nearly matches his white robes, seemingly made of clouds and darkening depending on his mood, and he always has white battle gear hidden underneath. He has a matching white longsword, kept neatly inside a ruby-encrusted sheath. His magical bow, carefully strapped to his back, always has one ruby headed arrow with pure white wood and feathers forming the body. The bow, white with a blood red string, is enchanted to always have an arrow carefully set in place. However, his pale skin, fangs (I've decided not traditional vampire fangs, they're two extra pointed and slightly inwardly curved teeth behind his normal canine ones), and how much he prefers the night are constant reminders of what he could become if he doesn't keep himself in check.

Personality: As straight-shooting as his arrows, he doesn't believe in deception, for better or worse. He lets his opinion be known clearly, though not with ferocity or forcefulness, and is generally a good judge of character.

Background: Raised by his mother, a mortal Monk of Light, and his father, a vampire, he would become either a tool for great destruction or creation at his coming of age, joining either the Seelie court as a monk like his mother, or the Unseelie court to become an assassin. He picked what seemed to be the obvious choice to him, monkhood in the Seelie court. He learned vast skills of the air and elements, and eventually became a bodyguard to various lone Seelies after becoming an official monk.

Other: Among his weapons, an increase in his power, and a few other gifts he received after becoming a Monk of Light, he got a white patterned tattoo of a snake winding up his arm, tail in the right hand and head in his left, dominant, hand. He can expel all or parts it from his body as a mist-based partner in combat, or just materialize the head to add a 'bite' to his punches. ((Sarah, you'll see where I got this idea from if you continue with Soul Eater.))

Name: Evynne Rosario

Race: mixed mortal blood and Fae

Skill: Seer (ability to read time: past, present, future)

Appearance: Porcelain and fair, Evynne has absolutely no amount of bluster. Delicately built, lean and petite, she stands at a short height, seeming even smaller because of her tendency to withdraw into herself. Long, curls of ebony fall down to her waist (she constantly hides her blushes with this convenient curtain), and her eyes are as white as the moon, no pupils to be found, just ghosts of the past and specters of the future.

Personality: Extremely introverted, Evynne is ruled by her fears and her visions. She is burdened by life, and her sole comfort is…chocolate. At times, she lapses into strange chanting—a consequence of her “visions”—which many dismiss as mere insanity.

Background: Evynne’s mother was a majestic woman who died at the hands of a powerful Unseelie prince, who had usurped her powers for his gain. When finished, he destroyed her and left Evynne orphaned. Having never known her father, she wandered the streets, a dirty, pitiable urchin until she stumbled upon the Windy Valley Inn, where she was taken in kindly by the “master.” She has since been waiting tables, cleaning, tending to customers, and trying to ignore her strange visions…

Other: She wears a deep blue stone on a silver chain on her forehead, a lapus lazuli reminiscent of ancient galaxies. The brand of the Seers is tattooed on her neck: the all-seeing eye.

Did you want her to be part of someone else's past? And it's fine.

I was thinking either Seth could have been a close assistant of or the prince, her previously having used Hawthorne's bodyguard services until she met the master of the inn, or somehow knowing Hawthorne or Vythica. Do any of those stand out to you?

I feel like it would have been more likely that she had contact with Hawthorne than any of the others. I doubt she would have hired his service (she's not too fond of Fae), but perhaps their paths crossed? Otherwise, she tries to stay away from any Fae, Seelie or Unseelie alike. Or maybe Seth was there the night Evynne's mother was killed?

That's what I was thinking in general for Seth, and assistant to the prince was why I figured he would have been there, but there are probably better reasons for why he would have been there. And Hawthorne (or Vythica if you'd rather) crossing paths with her could be an easier way out if we decide no to Seth.

You choose. Either way, it won't be a humongous tie. Unless it's Seth; she might not like him that much if he was the Unseelie prince's assistant...

Hmm, does anybody have a personal grudge against Seth yet? If not, it may be a good time for one >.

Hmm... okay, but she's not a fierce character, just to let you know. She's not even easily breakable because she's already broken.

Okay. It'll be interesting to see how she finds out that Seth was there... Seth is pretty much used to seeing/making people suffer, so I doubt he would remember it haha.

Appearance: Short black hair, skinny, dresses in dark hoodies and baggy pants, one black eye, one blue, black bangs cover blue eye, black wing tattoos on back, the wings are connected to a pentacle, usually has a handgun in her waist band, always has a pocketknife on her.

Personality: Easily annoyed, distant from others, doesn't really trust anyone else.

Background: Her parents were murdered as soon as she turned 13 and she doesn't remember much about her past.

Other: Axcess absolutely hates wearing girly clothes, her blue eye sees part of the future, hates it when people misjudge her by her appearance and she's bored of her everyday life.

Great start so far! But you might want to check out some of Story I if that's what you plan on using it for, just to make it stay a little better with the time zone and other charries/powers.

Skill: Raine has an infinite source of power. Whatever the mind can imagine, he can create. But there’s a catch to his power. He cannot make wishes on behalf of himself, only another person who is in possession of his ring can. That person is given three wishes, and once they have been used up, Raine falls into a catatonic state until someone else finds his ring and make their first wish.

Appearance: His eyes shine like copper coins beneath his thick eyelashes. They glow with the light of Insanity, the light of Vengeance. He dresses in the finest silks and fabrics only a choice few would ever get to experience in a lifetime, most of his clothing stolen from nobles he murdered. Raine’s dark brown hair is always neatly combed and styled to near perfection, without a single strand out of place. He is slightly taller than average, and he looms over most others he meets, a definite advantage for him since he is so limited with his powers.

Personality: An individual haunted by nothing but his own thoughts, Raine is mentally unstable. He is constantly paranoid that one of his minions may be plotting against him and using up their wishes without his knowledge, just so he’ll be rendered helpless. He is very picky and must have everything in order to the point of almost being obsessive-compulsive. Even his murders must be planned out beforehand, and his minions must follow his orders exactly, or else he won’t be very happy. When he is stressed out, he has visions of his former best friend, Anterran, whom he murdered.

Background: As a boy, he always walked the line between Seelie and Unseelie. Even though both of his parents were of the Unseelie Court, Raine always had a sunny disposition and could see the light in even the darkest of situations. Because he was so unusual, not many others in the Unseelie Court wished to be around him, and he was labeled and outcast. Not even his parents wanted to be near him. When he was older, he happened upon a Seelie named Anterran wounded in the woods. Raine took pity on Anterran and nursed him back to health. Afterwards, the two became inseparable and formed a secret friendship. Then, their world was flipped upside down when the Seelie Court demanded the elimination of the Unseelie Court. Unable to turn his back on his people, Anterran decided to kill his own friend. When Raine’s guard was down, Anterran drew his blade and charged his friend. Without even thinking, Raine drew his own blade and impaled his only friend. As Anterran lay dying, he begged his friend forgiveness for trying to take his life. Raine forgave him without a second thought. Raine buried Anterran in the very spot where they first met. His soul stained with the blood of his friend, his mind twisted. The Seelie Court made Anterran do it, so the Seelie Court were the ones who killed him, not Raine. They had to pay with their lives. He had always heard stories of the fabled Akribis, and believed that death by the Akribis was the most suitable punishment for Anterran’s murder, and for the attempted murder of himself. Promising power to whoever aided him, Raine created a miniature “army” for his quest.

Other: Because there are a limited number of wishes per person, Raine only allows his minions to use his powers under the direst of circumstances. Once each person has had their three wishes, they can’t have any more, meaning everything he has fought for up until would’ve been pointless. Once his minions run out, he could be trapped in unconsciousness for years, decades, or even centuries until someone else finds his ring.

Awesome! Maybe if you could just throw in if there are any limits on what the wishes can be about (if there aren't any limits that's totally fine, just wondering about that), and who, if anybody, has the ring now? Thanks!

For limits, a person can wish for anything except for having the world blow up/end/etc. and basically stuff like that. Also, the person who currently has the ring is the woman in the pond.
